In geometry, tiling (or tessellation) is the use of plane figures to completely cover a two-dimensional plane with infinite repetitions of one (or more) figure, or the filling of a three-dimensional space with contiguous solids, leaving no gaps. With ‘hypertiling’ I intended to fuse this idea with the hyper- suffix proper of our Internet culture, specifically hinting towards ‘hyperlink‘.

One interesting observation, relevant to recent discussions about anonymous blogging, occurs at about the 29 minute mark, when the screen displays two solutions to the same equation:
anonymity + physical distance + rare & ephemeral dialogue
= hatred as public performance
= freedom to experience humanity without fear or anxiety
John, yes indeed I did notice that. I am know very well how obnoxious can people get on the internet, it is enough to see the comments section of basically any YouTube video. Still, I think that to assume that anonymity will *necessarily* create hate-fueled morons is excessively pessimistic.
