In geometry, tiling (or tassellation) is the use of plane figures to completely cover a two-dimensional plane with infinite repetitions of one (or more) figure, or the filling of a three-dimensional space with contiguous solids, leaving no gaps. With ‘hypertiling’ I intended to fuse this idea with the hyper- suffix proper of our Internet culture, specifically hinting towards ‘hyperlink‘.
